Two sevens clash was a creative trilogy devised by Panya Banjoko. Two Sevens was the ultimate poetic battle
of the sexes. Two groups of seven artists – one female the other male –
battled it out in a clash using words, rhythms and beats to explore relationships in its broadest sense – personal,
local, global.
Two sevens developed from the regular FoodMood nights held at Mangè Caribbiene since August 2004. FoodMood was a mix of the finest Caribbean cuisine fused
with the best in regional and national talent. A host of spoken word artists and musicians performed at the venue, including,
John Berkavitch, Amen Ra, Random Ramblings and Tom Rogers. FoodMood was organised in partnership with Sonia Edmund of Mangè
Caribbiene and Panya Banjoko of Creative Splash.
