Creative Splash...Arts, Culture and Heritage

Creative splash was primarily set up to promote the arts for people of African Caribbean origin. It did this by developing arts projects in innovative spaces and by using innovative approaches. It brought spoken word performances to a range of venues including restaurants with FoodMood. It also developed projects such as 2sevens clash which saw male spoken word artists taking part in a lyrical battle with their female counterparts. It provided opportunities for local people to express themselves in SpeakOUT an open mic event. Over the last two years the organisation has developed and extended its focus and in addition to promoting the arts it is now also concerned with promoting culture and heritage.
